Devin manages all facets of the facility and is also a certified personal trainer. He is a skilled, industry veteran that has held numerous positions in the fitness field over the years.
Courtney handles a variety of duties, including membership sales, group class management and general club oversight.
Class Instructors/Personal Trainers
Jeff has been a personal trainer and fitness instructor for the last twenty years. He enjoys teaching and helping people achieve their fitness goals. “I have learned that we have to be kind with our bodies and help keep them healthy with proper exercise and a nutrient diet. My goal is always to be there for your Fitness needs and teach you correctly how to perform the exercise to build your strength, resistance and power so you can develop a healthy way of living,” he says.
Try one of his classes and you will discover how your body reacts when it gets pushed and challenged. This positive feeling will make you reach for more opportunities to grow and achieve your fitness goals.
Jennifer has been instructing group classes for ten years. She is currently teaching Body Sculpting on Monday evenings and H.I.I.T. on Wednesday mornings.
Jennifer brings energy and enthusiasm, so come ready for a great workout!
Kim fell in love with fitness during her own journey of losing 70lbs! She was stuck at home with her sick baby, overweight, and depressed. Getting fit changed her life entirely, both physically and mentally! She has developed a passion for helping others achieve their goal weight, health, and happiness.
Her experience covers a wide variety of training styles, specializing in H.I.I.T., transformation, and weight training. She can help you achieve your dream body!
Nina has lived a lifestyle centered around fitness and has an extensive background, including TRX®, Barre, Yoga, Pilates, Zumba®, Zumba Gold® and many other disciplines. She holds numerous AFAA certifications as well as a Mats Pilates certification. Although originally from Reno, she has traveled extensively throughout her career but is now back in Reno to stay! She's a mother of four grown children and recently became a grandmother.

Patty started dancing Zumba® in 2012 and loved the workout. Her passion for the dance fitness program grew and she became an instructor in 2015. Her interest in Zumba® was it’s fun and easy format – A total body workout that burns calories, boosts your energy and makes you feel good while listening to Latin music, world rhythms, and Top-40 hits!
Patty is a mother of four children and works in the Medical Field as a Radiology Technologist. Come and join her for some Zumba® fun on Monday and Tuesday evenings!
Rick has been teaching group fitness for over ten years. His fitness journey began when he competed in several natural bodybuilding shows in Sacramento, CA. From there, he started teaching boot camp classes and enjoyed seeing the members’ results.
He teaches INSANITY® and R.I.P.P.E.D™ in Reno and ZUMBA® in Carson City. Rick loves to see members walk out of class sweating with smiles on their faces knowing they had a great workout.
Shavanne teaches Zumba®. She started taking classes in 2011 and never imagined she’d become an instructor. With the encouragement of other class members, she became a licensed instructor in 2013. The best part of her day is having the opportunity to dance with class participants and share her knowledge and experience as a fitness instructor.
Shavanne teaches on Wednesday evening.
Silvia, born and raised in Europe (Spain), moved to Reno four years ago. Her passion for dancing began twenty years ago and includes, ballroom and specialty Latin rhythms such as Salsa, Bachata and Merengue. She soon discovered Zumba® and subsequently became a licensed instructor in several formats.

The first time Andrea took a HIGH Fitness class, she knew she was addicted! She became a certified High Fitness instructor in Hawaii in May 2017 after only attending three High classes. Since then, she's been teaching in both Carson City and Minden. Andrea has a busy family, three kids and is addicted to HIGH Fitness!
High Fitness is for EVERY level of fitness and is about community, empowerment, strength, and having a sweaty blast to music you know and love! Come see Andrea every Monday at 9 am!
Jamie was born and raised in Carson City. She has lived here for 39 years and has a sixteen year old son and a ten year old daughter. In addition to teaching classes, she works as a bartender/server at a local pub in town. She has been involved in fitness most of her adult life and loves everything about it.
Three years ago, she began teaching classes, which includes two Full-Body Classes, as well as a Kickboxing Class. She loves what she does and hopes to continue progressing in the Fitness Industry.
Jamie is now teaching three classes per week at Verity.
Lourdes has been teaching Zumba® for six years. She loves to dance because it's fun, easy and you can burn lots of calories. Come down and burn some calories with her!
Lourdes has an impressive following in the Zumba® community and teaches on Monday and Wednesday evenings.
Lydia has been a fitness professional since 1998 and carries eight certificates. They include a primary certificate from the American Fitness and Aerobics Association of America and a Gold Star level from Beachbody (P90X®, Insanity, Turbo Kick®, PiYo™).
Her philosophy is simply 'Better Sore Than Sorry!!' You never know what surprises will arise in the next workout due to her creativity. You could find yourself recreating a scene from Star Wars in a Super Cycle class or breaking down the choreography to Michael Jackson's Thriller.
Zandy has been involved in the fitness industry for almost ten years. After obtaining her Spin certification, she decided to also get certified through ACE in Personal Training, Group X and as a Senior Fitness Specialist. Additionally, she is Silver Sneakers certified. She has experience, and still teach classes, from Senior Fitness levels all the way to HIIT Bootcamp levels.
She recommends two things to her students. First, always listen to your body. The instructor can’t listen for you. We can only motivate you and make sure you don’t hurt yourself. Secondly, always try to have FUN. Group classes are all about FUN! See you in my class!
